Art Nouveau-Style Green Iridescent Glass Flower-Frog Vase
A decorative green iridescent glass vase with a coiled, textured form and a removable pierced metal flower-frog lid. The light-catching finish and organic shape give it an Art Nouveau character, making it an attractive display piece for a shelf or cabinet. The grille is designed to support and arrange short flower stems.
Maker & Attribution
The vase is recorded as unsigned, and the maker has not been identified. A Bohemian origin and a date of circa 1900–1920 have been suggested but remain unconfirmed. No firm attribution to Loetz or Kralik is made. The age and originality of the accompanying metal lid have not been established.
