Antique Wemyss Ware Cabbage Rose Tankard | Robert Heron & Sons, Fife Pottery, c.1900
An exceptionally vibrant authentic Edwardian Scottish art pottery large tankard, hand-painted in the iconic Cabbage Rose pattern by the renowned Fife Pottery of Robert Heron & Sons, Kirkcaldy.
The body features a beautifully executed, lush cluster of deep pink roses framed by a crisp grass-green painted trim. This striking botanical design contrasts wonderfully against the rich cream earthenware glaze, perfectly embodying the rustic craftsmanship of the early 20th-century Scottish pottery movement.
A wonderful addition for serious art pottery collectors, or as a sophisticated antique gift with genuine turn-of-the-century Scottish character.

- Decoration: Hand-painted roses remain exceptionally bright, crisp, and visually striking
- Repairs: Please note that the upper rim has been professionally restored to an elite, museum-grade standard. The repair is structurally sound, seamlessly executed, and completely invisible to the naked eye under normal display lighting
