The label fixed to the shade reads ‘60W Max’, ‘Anglepoise’ and ‘Made In England’.

The lamp was manufactured by Herbert Terry & Sons of Redditch, Worcestershire, and dates from circa 1970s. The precise manufacturing date and workshop attribution have not been verified.
